Default Leveling of 2wd screw

I have a 08 screw that is a bit hopped up in the back to compensate for a load. I was wanting to level her out and thought I might remove the blocks from the rear axle......problem is, there are no blocks to remove. Do I have any other options other than raising the front end which I really dont want to do cause I going for the sleek(not so much lowered) look and more streamlined. This is my first 2wd truck and I´m just trying to put my own touch on it. I´m so used to going the other way that this is unchartered territory for me. Any ideas?
