Regardless, the steeper you go on a lift it will wear out your suspension quicker; upper+lower balljoints etc.
A leveling kit will fit 33's easily- other wise you hop to a 4". As for tires on a half ton anything over 31' I'd do a tranny recalibration. 33" on a 3/4 ton or 1 ton to recalibrate. It will help your mpg and motor less stress in general on top of already having a lift.

Is it a 285? That explains why anything over 31' should be re-cali'd.
Also incase someone doesn't know the rear end sits higher on your avg pickup because when you put a load in the box it raises the front end. So if you level it out you sometime have to re-adjust headlights in order not to shoot people in the face

I have a 3 inch Ready Lift in the front and 4 inch in the back(2 factory blocks) with stock tires. From the ground to the top of the wheel wells is 40-1/8 on the front and 40-3/4 in the back.

You need to measure the distance from the ground to the rear fender well and then measure the front as well and find your difference. Each truck is going to be different. The 2.5" kit worked perfect on my 07. This is a 33.4x12.8x18 (325/60/18) nitto terra grappler on it.
Agreed. I picked up a 2.5" used from a guy here. Then I got to measuring my fender well height from the ground. It is looking like the 2.5" will put them dead even or maybe even a 1/8" higher.
I'm thinking of putting it in a lathe and trim it down or look for 2" and sell the 2.5". This was a quick measurement to just eyeball. I need to double check but i think I would like the front to be 1/4-1/2" lower than front. I think the 2" will give you that.

On my fx4 i put a 3" hbs level. With the stock susp its only off by 3/8" from front to rear thats measuring from ground to top wheel well. I love it. No issues and i had it in for good while now. My measurement from ground to top wheel well with 32" tires and stock 18" rims was 40" rear and 39 5/8" front. Haven't measured with new tires yet. Just make sure you get a good alignment done.
