Default Lend a Phaser Holding Tool?

Hello, I'm about to replace my timing components including the followers and adjusters. I'd rather save some money on the phaser tool, if anyone is willing to lend it? I'll cover shipping ofc. I'd return it when done.

@LariatDude , I have one (somewhere) and if you'll PM me an address, I'll see to it that it arrives -FOB- your front porch.

You can actually, however, use an old Timing Chain wrapped around the Phaser and 'PINCH' both halves under a large fender washer on one of the timing cover bolts.

It's on the way, along with long Crankshaft Bolt and bunch of flat washers for pulling the front pulley back on. Take your time and double check every step and keep us posted along the way. We are hoping about 150,000 good useful miles of life re-appears when you get done and hit the start button.

Will do. It’s been a long time coming. Thank you for the tools and extras, I’ll put them to good use!

How do I prime the lash adjusters? Soaking them in motor oil overnight?
