I want to get a 100Xl leer cap for my 08 XLT with 6.5' bed.

Does anyone know if they have to remove the factory black plastic bed rails or will they just install the cap right over them

anyone have pictures of the 6.5' XLT with a cap on it.

 

The cap just slides over the bed rails. The electrical wires were run on the frame and come up through the R/R tail lamp.
