Default Heater trouble

Hi. I am new to the site. I'm not new to ford trucks I have driven one for about 30 years now.
I got a new 2008 F150 4x4 supercrew. I am having trouble with the heater. I have to turn the temp down into the blue to keep from getting to hot.
I took it to the ford dealer today and he put a new control box and some type of head on the heating system. He said that they did what ford told them to do. This did not fix my problem. He said that another coustomer had the same problem and the ford fix did not take care of his problem. One of the the parts replaced today was a blender motor.
I was wondering if anyone out there was having the same problem and what will have to be done to fix the problem?

I have a 2006 F150 4x4 Supercab that I just purchased from a Ford dealer and had a similar problem.

The heat control failed to adjust the temperature. No matter where I turned the dial, it stayed either very hot or very cold - there was no blending. But, it happened inconsistently. So, of course when I brought it in to the dealer, the problem couldn't be reproduced. However, after talking extensively to the shop foreman and mentioning that I was experiencing the exact same problem that is detailed in a Technical Service Bulletin (TSB), he agreed to replace the blender door actuator. I got it back last Thursday and it's been fine so far.

The shop foreman also mentioned that the adjusting **** (apparently a potentiometer) could be at fault.

Anyway, if you search these forums, you'll find the problem mentioned by several others. I know this doesn't give you a solution, but at least you know that it's not an isolated problem.
