Default LED's under running boards

I have a left over roll of waterproof LED's and I want to put them under the running boards to come on as a puddle light, my question is does anyone know what color wire do I tap into so my lights will come on when my map/dome lights come on??
2008 FX4 crew cab 5.4
Thank you!!

Not sure on the wires in the loom but I just ran mine up to the actual dome light and spliced in from there. Took like 5 minutes to get the wire ran

I've asked around the forum so many times and no one really knew an I finally found out so I'll help you! It's the black and blue if I'm not mistaken. But to be sure. Just unscrew the top of your cargo lights and look at the wire there. It's a really sweet mod.

Do you have more pics? Like of the strip, where it is, and where you ran the cords? Thanks.

Under the bed rails, and inside the armrest, I used a junkyard plunger style switch so the led comes on when you open the cover..

Sorry it took me so long to get back. I found it under the passenger side right at the edge of the carpet. It is a black and light blue wire and I found it where the wires cross from the passenger side to the drivers side. I grounded them on a factory ground that is under the passenger door
