I totally agree,,, the wheels are the only part I dont like..


I found the Clearance Light Spec,,, If you vehicle is over 80" wide,, clearance lights are required per FMVSS 108...... and the Raptors have the big wheel flares that kick it over the width... So they put them in the grille..

I think im going to radio shack after work to look for some LEDs to put on tonight.

I want to do this since the first day i saw the raptor, but now with the fx2 grill i have to look how to mount the leds.

Sorry for the bad pics but here are some led's i put in the grill. these are just temp until i can get some of yalls opnions then if it sounds and looks good ill do a better job.

Eh, im not much of a light up the outside kinda guy. IF I was going to do it, I would make sure to hide the LEDs and have the light shine up or down to where I want it.

Take a pic in the early morning w/ the LED's on. This will help produce a better picture w/out so much glare, yet still allowing us to see the lights. Also, take a picture @ night to see if the lights are visible from the cab (like if they project out onto the road any). Thanks!
