Ok, I have looked at a few different posts on here regarding this topic but have yet to find one that answers my exact question. (Also those who read this post should know I am a self-proclaimed idiot when it comes to wiring.)

I am wanting to put LED ambient lighting shining on my center console. I would like to install one spotlight LED in my overhead console. (I have the power sliding rear window w/sunglass holder.) Has anyone on here done this? Do they have pictures? I need suggestions for wiring too... Any help you guys can give me will be greatly appreciated!

 

Good question, when you say ambient lighting, you mean a dim light that's on all the time (or at night) right?
I was in an 09 Impala and it had ambient lighting up the center console. It looked really cool, like a moon lighting it up. It wasn't too bright as to distract you, but bright enough you could see things and probably wouldn't need to turn on the map lights.
That is what I'm interested in, has anyone done anything like this?
