hahahahaha, I actually thought about doing some pre-switches and selling them with the 3mm LED but could never find any at local junk yard and Ford wants $83 for a new switch so I said forget it.

Oh and as some of you guys might know about the window switch issue with the power window not working some times. This is "sometimes" caused by the contacts getting dirty. After cleaning all my contacts with a small piece of sandpaper I haven't had any other issues with them not working. Always a good idea to do since you're in there.

Seriously, I would be willing to send you my switches, money for the lights, and some extra for your troubles, including shipping both ways. I'm swamped with buying a house (almost there) but WANT/NEED this mod. HAhahaha. Who needs to roll their windows down anyway for 2 weeks?

If you want to do without them for a week or so sure. I have tons of 3mm LEDs and resistors. I don't have any extra 1206 SMD LED's for the drivers door switch. I could get the passenger door window and lock and the back seat window switches done in one day if nothing came up. What year is your truck? I would assume it's a 04-08 and if so then I could test everything on my truck prior to shipping them back.

06 XLT. And I can easily go without windows for 10-14 days! So how bout I send you all my switches plus some cash for the 1206 that you dont have (this way you can order exactly what you need, while its getting on its way to you, so would my switches, rather than me waiting to get the 1206's and then send it all out?). Say $50? That would cover the 1206's, some of you 3mm, return shipping, and prolly a 12-pack even? Lol. Just let me know whats reasonable to you, and just PM me your address and I'll get them all shipped out to you today! Can you tell I really want this mod? Lol. Thanks bud!!!!!!!

I am a helicopter mechanic so mechanics I got electrical no Im not a wire chaser by any means. So will I know what I am doing like I just am very unsure about the soldering. Hey guys Is the PLCC-2 the same as the 3528 Smd Leds? I found several sellers on Ebay but was wanting to purchase them all from one that has them all and said that 3528 smd is the same as PLCC-2?

Sorry bud but I don't know however if the seller said they are I would take his word on it. They aren't that expensive, at least not where I got mine at.

Thumbs up

Thanks I went ahead and ordered them they should be in by the weekend so might get started on them. Got white ones, I have a 2007 Lincoln Mark Lt and an Aviator but the interior lights of the Aviator are so much nicer and the lights of the Mark LT are green like the F150 wtf Ive already done the Dome, Map, Reverse, and Bed Lights. Ive already took apart one of the window switches in order to see how everything goes and seems pretty straight forward. havent had a chance to take apart the HVAC Controls yet but waiting for everything to get here before I take the plunge . Also gonna mod the headlights where above the parking lights there will be a white LED bulb then I am going to wire that to have DRLs seems kinda lame but I like them but scared to take apart the headlights
