Ive got a 04 f150 and been thinking of installing a set of H13 LED bulbs in the headlights. Has anyone done this and if so are you satisfied with the light output of them?

 

I heard the light output sucks and you will blind the people you drive by.

 

Yeah, you'd need projectors for any LED bulbs in headlights. Manufacturers are working on making LED bulbs brighter than HID, but not many are there yet due to how much heat is put out in order to light up the road enough.
Stick with HID or even the stock halogen bulbs before doing that.
