Default LED Fog Lights

Anyone installed LED fog lights? If so, are they worth it?

I have HID low beams and am looking for options for fog lights. The stock factory bulbs are a little too yellowish for me. I know I could do HID fogs but I don't really want to since they shut off every time I flash my high beams.

My only other thought/option would be a set of silverstar ultra fogs. I want something that will perform better and be a white(er) light.

Truck is an '06 FX4 SCrew.

p.s. I tried searching but apparently you can search for three letter terms...

I have led bulbs coming in for my fogs, they are not here yet but when they come in I will throw them in and post a picture. Honestly my foglights suck they just look good. I have 10k hi/low hid's so I mite buy 10k fogs if I don't like the look of led but we shall see.

6000K fog lights. White light travels farther than halogen, and 6000K has the highest frequency (freq. = distance) on the Kelvin scale.

I'm interested to see if LEDs are powerful enough in the small fog housing to emit a matching beam to that of HIDs. Subscribed

Well I got the led fog lights put in. The light scatters pretty bad but they look good especially when you have hid headlights and want a brighter light for your fogs. Overall the halogens are better for functionality unless you can find a way to focus the beam. My phone won't let me upload pics right now but when it does I'll post some up. EDIT: there are 68 LEDs on each 9005 foglight bulb.

uhm, no. 4300k does. thats why all factory cars come with this. the kelvin scale is completely a temperture guide.

and second to the OP follow this link and your foglights will stay on with your highbeams, it takes literally 10mins or less to do.

4300k hids will travel longer than 6000k hids. but 6000k hids travel farther than stock halogen bulbs

i bought went and bought a 10k hid kit at a flea market for 80 bucks, the kit i bought has hid low beams but halogen highbeams. he told me its better to have that cuz without highbeams able to turn on i wouldnt pass inspection, would it be possible to buy 12k hibeam bulbs to go in place of my halogens?

Are your turn signals red or amber LEDs too?
