Default LED bulb replacement

has anyone replaced the tag lights, backup, and front side marker lights with LED bulbs.

On Ebay I found a seller with a 1 bulb for the tag light and front side markers and I am thinking about them but would like to see how they look.

I am also thinking bout the backup light with a LED hopefully to increase visibility when backing. will it benefit me or just be really bright right behind my truck and not light up the driveway enough to be useful

While I like the idea of long lasting LED replacement bulbs over "filiment", keep in mind that LED lights are "one directional", meaning you have to be directly behind to get the effect of the light. LED's don't refract well on the side. Just keep that in mind when replacing filiment bulbs with LED's.

As bucko says make sure of the LED output and arrangement. You can get LED's that have the Surface Mounted led's all around the edges

I replaced mine with 360 degree leds from VisionXUSA and they are quite bright. I've also supplemented them with 4" round LED work lights under the bumper from Trucklite. Now I can see everything.

Ok, here's a few pics I took tonight...a little foggy around here right now. I'll snap a few in the daylight tomorrow as well.
I'm still playing with the alignment, I think I might be throwing too much light at vehicles behind me
Vision 360's in the taillights and Trucklite work lamps under the bumper.
