Default Leather on steering wheel?

Hello all,
My trusty baby is in need of a steering wheel overhaul.
I bought this baby brand new in 2005 and it has now 92000 miles on it.
This truck has been so good to me and I want to keep it a little longer.
The leather on the top part of the steering wheel is all worn out and needs to be replaced.
what options do I have?
exchange the steering wheel for a newly redone one?
buy a cover and do it myself?
bring it to a place where they'll redo it?
any other options?

This is what it used to look like when it was new.

I just put a wheel skin cover on my truck and it feels and looks great. I would highly recommend one.

Auto anything I bought it when it was on sale a little while ago. I think they're about 50 bucks. If you search I think there are promo codes for auto anythings website. It takes some patience because of the stitches but totally worth it.

I bought one from Walmart, was like 15 bucks. Lots of stretching, but it works. Looks pretty good too.
The one I had previously I got from Walmart as well, lasted 4 years until it needed replaced.

Yeah you can it doesn't come ready to put on the truck. You situate the leather where you want it and then start stitching it together. The instructions are very clear anybody can do it. And if you have any questions you can call wheelskins they will even send you samples of the leather to see if you like the color before you buy it I believe.
