Rack and Pinion metal hose fitting on passenger side of my 05 FX4 crew started leaking bad. 111K. I have added almost a quart now and I had better fix this. Sadly, I just replaced my tires and lower spherical bearings (Pro Comp stage 2 6"lift) about a month ago and a few months back I had one of the upper UCA's replaced so the truck is aligned. My guess is that is compression fitting and it must have been abused at some point. I do not see any reason to look at the steering pump. I was getting a little noise at full right turn. Any ideas where I should start? Just get a remanf. steering rack and replace? Thanks.
