PLEASE HELP Knock sensor code new remanufactured ford engine
hi, this is my first time posting on here but i really need some help, I have a 2004 F150 xlt with the 5.4l at 91,500 miles i had the long block replaced by the dealer due to cam phaser wear. now i have 98,500 miles and i am throwing a knock sensor code P0331. the dealer has had it for a week, they admit something is wrong but don't know what they can not duplicate the knocking noise and sputter on the engine that i have experienced. there shop foreman is now driving my truck on his personal time with the diagnostic computer hooked up. They said they have 2 guesses but they r only guesses one is cam phasers AGAIN or the synchro. they also said they have ruled out the sensor as the problem because the voltage was ok. i think they r really trying to figure this out, but not 100% they may be just wasting my time since its under the warranty. any ideas people??? thank you!

They finally told me it was the knock sensor causing the problem $660 to replace. does anyone know if the knock sensor was included with the new remanufactured engine from ford? or did they really use the old sensors? engine part # 4L3Z-6006-ARM

I had the same engine replaced and I was told anything internally is covered I'm about to have a debat with ford about my warranty so don't let them fool you, it it's still under warranty the. It should be covered
