I am trying to replace the knock sensor in my truck. I have a 04 f150 5.4 3v. i have the old one out, but i cant get the new one to connect to the wiring harness. after this i tryed to put the old one back on i cant get it to go back on. ?????????? I need help bad, please any input appreciated

 

Was the original hard to get out the first time, maybe you yanked something loose and its not allowing it to fit back in

 

nothing a little pressure wouldn't get it apart. I didn't pull that hard because i could only get one hand in their.

 

I don't know what the problem is i am really confused. i ordered the part of of the internet the connector is not exactly the same, but still the two blade type.i have ordered one from advance be here saturday maybe this one will work better. If not may look into cutting and splicing wires.
