Default Keyless Entry Stopped Working

Hey guys

I have an 05 f150 FX4 that no longer allows me to use the keyless entry. I've used it numerous times for at least 4 years with no issues until the code didn't work this morning...now after going through my manual i couldn't find a fuse for it nor blown fuse in the fuse box (btw what a ****ty place to put a fuse box). So i played around with it a little more and each button when pushed will light up the keypad. After re-entering my code the manual told me to hold the 7/8, then the 3/4, and then to release them both, 3/4 first and then the 7/8. After i did that, the truck doors locked. I re-entered the code and then hit the 7/8 button after and it locked again. I'm thinking the keypad is worn but im not entirely sure. Any help would be much appreciated!

Unplug your battery for 5 minutes to reset, if still not working
press every single button and see if they all turn on the lights, if any fail its just a bad keypad, is the remote working ?

If it's the stick on keypad, try reprogramming it to your truck.

Pressing each button to "test" the key pad will not work. You have 5 buttons but only 3 wires that carry the info. Button 3/4 and 5/6 share wires with 1/2 7/8 and 9/0. One of the diodes prob has failed if they each light up the key pad. If so when your pressing one button the truck thinks its a different one. Or your computer if messed up and needs reprogrammed.
