i went through the same thing and got it myself in 20 mins in the dark in my driveway screw the dealer

 

I've just brought a 2007 f-150 4 door, it does't have a keyless pad for the drive side door, I will try to pick one up one keyless pad from the salage yard from another truck. what years will fit my truck and do I need to look behind the back seat for that code or will my truck will have one behind the back seat even if my truck didn't have a keyless entry?

 

Wish I would've known about this a year ago when I bought mine! AND... before I paid a dealership 50 bucks to pull the combo for me. Oh well, I took the expensive route, but got my code none-the-less. lol
