Same situation for me. I saved my money and used the instructions from the thread referenced above. Be patient and it'll pop out. As a bonus you can clean out the last guy's used McDonald's wrappers and other nasty stinky junk that winds up back there. You may even earn some $ with the loose change you find. Hope you find a C-note.

 

I just did mine... Took me all of 10 minutes to get the back off the back wall and find the code, plug it into the keypad to double check it then put the seat back back on...

I started from the passenger side. Yanked up then up and out. I did hang up on the middle seatbelt, make sure that isnt holding you. Then the other side came out the same way. To put back on, start with sitting the bottom in the right spot then slide the seat up to get the hooks into the holes and press down...

No need to take to ford... No tools required...
