I replaced the batteries in both of my remotes and neither of them will work more than 20 feet from the truck. It's really annoying that it does this. Has anyone run into this before and if so what was the solution. I saw new ones on eBay for like $10 but not sure if they were too good or how you even pair it with your truck to make it work. I have had other vehicles where the remote would work from hundreds of feet away through windows inside my house, not from 10 feet away directly in front of my truck.

 

I have thus same problem but I haven't replaced batteries yet ( i always forget to get them till after I leave the store) if yiu figure out what else to do let ne know

 

may be the receiver module itself

 

I ordered a direct replacement from amazon and it came with programming instructions. It works from the same distance as yours and my other to factory ones... About 10 feet away. So I'm thinking its the receiver like the post before me says but have no idea how to fix it.
