I had a Hypertech plugged into my 2006 F150 4x4 and I accidentally pulled it out before exiting out the programming.

I tried to start my truck but it wouldnt do so. My buddy said I probably wiped out the key.

Before I take it somewhere to reprogram the keys can I do it myself??

 

Mos tlikely it's the ECU that's the issue, not the physical keys, which just have an RFID transponder in them.

 

Good news is, the dealer can probably re-load your ECM... for a price.
