Default Rear end issues.

I have an 07 and between 55 and 60 I have a "grabbing" feeling in my rear axle. It only does it when I'm under power(going up hill or when I pass someone). I thought it was my transmission but that wasn't the issue. Any ideas?

It's when I'm accelerating up a hill or on a curve, the rear end feels like something is grabbing. It's a one wheel wonder so I know it's not the posi trying to engage. The only thing I can think of is worn splines on the axle shaft or on the differential

Well with that type of speed, it is usual that you need new spark plugs. People run plugs for sooooo long and wonder why they lose power when they need it. I would start there if you haven't had a plug change.

But other than that, my front driver side caliper likes to stick once it gets heated up and it really bogs me down. I don't know if yours happens all the time or just once its good and warmed up. But brakes can really kill the power.

Are you on-top of your maintenance?? When has the diff fluid been change? Did you put in a limited slip additive?

Possibly the parking brake? Some have had issues with them dragging. I'm not sure if they could "grab" like you describe or not.
