A lot look like just looks to me. I doubt they would really perform much different for a basic bolt on truck. I would suggest a plastic tubing one though simply as metal holds residual heat from the engine bay longer then the plastic. And they all have a heat shield which you really want as average air sucked into a CAI unshielded is about 200 to 208 degrees and a shielded box will pull in about 100 to 125.....

Other then that, get which one you like the looks of and is in your budget....

Nah, it wouldn't be REQUIRED. To get the most out of the mod, then yes.

Example. A manufacturer might claim their cold air product adds 8 to 12 hp. Which is might do, but if you add just solely the intake, then you are looking at the 8 number. Add a tuner and exhaust and you are looking closer to the 12.

A tune from SCT, Predator, ( there's a number of good ones, a ton of threads on them on the site ) will get the maximum potential out of the cai and really wake the truck up but no, the truck would run fine without a tune and it will still add a bit of power.....

That I do not know. I don't know if the Heritage model is styling only or if engine is any different at all from standard. I suspect it's only a styling gimmick but I'd doublecheck as well. What year, and size engine truck you have?

I believe this is the one that you would want if you don't have the Heritage, or Harley Davidison edition trucks, it's just for a 4.6 V8 basic engine.

I'd call or email them and double check though if any questions on fitment
