Started with a jump seat in my 2005 f150 and bought a 2009-10 center console on ebay to put in it; however as some of you know the mounts are different. I had to build a bracket to get it to fit, which is currently a work in progress but will be done soon.

Started by mocking up a bracket with cardboard. I then cut the front and back mounting points off the jump seat bracket and bought some 2" angle iron for the sides.

 

A lot of work...did you get a good deal on the '09-'10 console? Why not just buy the '04 to '08 console? It's a direct bolt in.

Good work though on your fabrication.

 

142 plus 78 for shipping. I couldn't find an 04-08 console and the ones I did find they wanted at least 200 plus 75-100 for shipping

 

I guess I was lucky. I did an even swap with my jumpseat for one. Other owner wanted a grey jumpseat, and I wanted a console. We each paid shipping to each other. This F150 console is one of the deapest I've ever seen!

your interior looks about the same as mine and my cupholder piece is peeling back so I'm thinking about getting another jump seat.

 

I have grey interior and yes I still have it.

 

Started with a jump seat and a brown/ tan 09 console. Ended with a good looking black 09 console

 

where did you get your consol cover

 

damn i thought yours was a brownish coffee color

 

that looks a whole lot like my 04-08 one. are the 09's that similiar?
