Default JBA Header question

Well I've had my headers on for about a month now and it still sounds like I've got an exhaust leak. My mechanic has spent hours on it trying to find it with no success. Anybody have the JBA shorty headers and have the same problem

Miles on vehicle?
Did you replace the gaskets?
If so, what kind did you use?

The felt gaskets are a joke. Mine leaked bad using them. Took them out and got some never leak gaskets problem solved. The gaskets are multiple layers of metal that are thin and crush a little when you tighten the bolts

I bought them from troyer. I think they are called seal for good. Call troyer and ask them. I know summit sells thembecause I bought a set for my stang. Unfortunately they blew out on the stang because my headers were worped. Even now with my turbo kit on the truck no leaks and a conservative estimate on pursue in the exhaust caused by the turbo is 16psi...........8psi of boost times two equals exhaust pressure

On my Chevy Caprice w/a 355, I used copper gaskets with a little 'super copper' sealant when the first set I had went bad. No ticking at all. Love them things. Just a suggestion.
