I bought a new battery and replaced it. it worked fine at first, couple of hours later its not working anymore. i opened the remote up and removed the battery and put it back in, nothing. i've pulled the little pieces that make contact to the battery (not enough to break them of course) and nothing. what gives?

 

Could be a dud battery, it's happened to me before.

Very possible. Is it the only remote you have?

 

yea its the only remote... not sure if i can go to the dealership and just buy a new one... sucks when i have to unlock it with a key, then run to the other side and open the door for my lady. its not very romantic hahaha
