My turn..
I re-upholstered my console so the dog wouldn't hurt the leather..embroidered my head rests..I'm the guy that did SilverLariats headrests also..we own a embroidery buisness..and I put in a DVD/Nav system. My I-pod is mounted in the center console where I ran all my wires.I keep in there all the time and bought another one to carry around.I also have a radar detector that is hard wired thru the over head console so no wires hang.and lights IN my console.

Hey Posttal! Didn't know you were over here too - sent a couple guys your way this afternoon - actually I shared Lori Lee's business info with them.

While you're here - has anyone done the back seat headrests??? Was thinking about that.

I had a similar idea, but want to have mine cover up that silver plastic cap at the top too. If i find something that will cover that can you incorporate it and stich it all together for me? If so, how much? I could supply you leather too...or you provide, either way.

I bought mine, just had to do the threads down the back to synch it on. Here's the guy's website http://www.ranchitout.com/

His stuff is a little on the expensive side, but real high quality and matches my tan leather perfectly.

Hey GatorB8 ---
Is your truck a KR? I really like the wood grain on the console around the shifter. My Lariat has the center radio/ad/ashtray wood grain but nothing on top of the console. Did your truck come that way? Is it an add on - if so, where? I really like that.

Hey there Mr.Lariat...Yup I'm here too..Between the Smart Car,the Harley, the Dune Buggy,Vette and Truck it seem I belong to waaaay too many forums..but I like them all they each offer something different.Good people, good advice..and lots of pictures for ideas.
Thanks for the good words..Lori asked me earlier about an E-mail she recieved concerning doing some headrests..I knew it came from one of the forums.
On the subject of rear headrests.I'm doing mine as soon as the weather breaks..I lay low for the winter, too cold in cleveland.
With the rear being smaller I'm stuck for a design..might either go with a simple F-150 without the "Lariat" although I'd like to do some type of tribal scripting..something different and not related to ford or the truck itself..I'll figgure something out.
And for anyone interested,I'v got a set of BLACK harley davidson headrests already embroidered with Harley Davidson on them..BUT sewn on the rear..or rounded side of the headrest not the flat side. You would have to mount them reversed like they do when you mount a monitor in them.although some guys like them reversed for the feel depending on their height.Heres a pis..you can see what i mean..
I like them reversed...but also if your thinking about rear monitors there also perfect.
