Doing the window/door buttons, steering wheel, HVAC, etc, in blue led next (ordered all this morning ) I also flipped my 2 tone inside, from light grey/dark grey to black/dark grey now.
I don't get the blue light thing. I think they are real hard on the eyes. even dimmed all the way down the blue light in my Alpine radio buttons bothered me so much I took the removable face plate apart and painted them black from the back side. Now a small amout oflight gets through from the sidesof the buttons.

Everything isnt as bright as the pic looks. Well, the signals are, gosh damn they are bright. But the whole cluster is a great hue of blue. You can order any color LEDs to swap out into the cluster. I personally love the color blue so I'm doing everything I can that color. HIDS are the blueish even. To each their own

I guess if I was going to do a color change I would do red. I had a car with red dash lights and liked the look. It was soft light for the peepers.

Man I say do your truck in red. It will take you 3-4 hrs tops. I scraped with a razor blade as much as I could, then came back with nail polish remover and scraped again (the NPR made what I missed so visible). I think this gave me such an even coloring across the dash. If you need the link to the LED let me know. DO IT DO IT DO IT DO IT

I see whatcha mean with the iphone. I have the dumb tranny shifter on the center console with my FX4 (much rather be on the column) so I don't have that cubby... Anyone else have iPhone mounting ideas for the FX4 style setup?

well the good thing with that is the holder is so tight u can put it any were if u wanted it out if not hook ur iphone cable to radio and get a coupling for it and run the wire to ur armrest or take out ur 12v and make a black or what ever color plate u need to mathc ur truck and run wire out of there and mount that same holder i got on ur dash. but mount it like really close to iti think it would be sick. cuz it be liek what i did i got rid of my cig lighter under my ac and made a black plate to cover over hole from removed cig lighter and mounted my hu remote there
