Finally jumped the truck, so its at least turning on. Yeah I'm clueless, idk what else to do. Didn't drill any holes. Grounded everything to preexisting holes.

I will not be tapping into that wire when i do interior lights.

Maybe its just a weak battery... Try charging it up and see what happens.... Autozone will load test it and charge it. Maybe you killed the bat having the doors open too long installing those lights.
