interior led lights stay on??
I got a set of leds from my cousin and installed them tonight. Even when the truck is off there is a light glow. Not enough to produce any light but its there. Is this normal? Will it kill my battery? I'll post a pic of how they glow.
Yeah I have the same thing. From what I understand it's because there isn't a load on the LEDs. It doesn't hurt anything nor does it drain your battery. It's because LEDs do not require much power to light them so the residual power causes them to dimly light. I don't know enough about it. hopefully someone else here knows how to stop it cause it gets on my nerves.

Mine do the same interior dome lights and cargo lights stay on dimly. I want a fix but for now i just deal with it, if my truck sits for about 2 weeks the battery sometimes dies but it hasn't sat for that long for a very long time.
Same problem here. It was suggested to me to buy a higher quality LED bulb but that made no difference. I also heard of installing a load resistor. Not sure how but if someone has instructions or schematics that would be greatly appreciated.
I also have LEDs in everything like the dome lights, tail lights, I also have LEDs in the reverse sensor button, and the little light that says the passenger air bag is on. None of my dome lights have a glow but the air bag light has a slight glow only when the key is on... I'm guessing it's just because it's not a big enough resistor or isn't the correct one for the application.
