Default Interior Badge Question

I have a 05 FX4 and would love to put like a black and red billet badge on the the passenger side on the console, just above the glove compartment, would it be possible to put a few bolts through that piece?

I think the airbag comes through the top of the dashboard above the glovebox, but I would make sure that there isnt anything behind the panel you are referring to.

If anything, I would suggest some commercial-grade interior glue (like high-temp silicone).

I wouldnt put anything on the passenger side dash. The air bag deploys from the seam seperating the top of the dash from the part above the glove box. Top flips up towards windshield, bottom down towards your legs, air bag comes straight out. Anything mounted to these surfaces has a probability of coming off at a high rate of speed, higher than that of objects just random in the dash tray.

Ya I have it all drawn out now, its 6 1/2 inches long, by 2 1/2 tall. 1/4 wide with 1/8 in dent, it will have a rim around the outside and will look like the new fx4 stickers sort of. ill upload my drawing soon. Having my girlfriends dad machine it for me, just dont know how to add the color, the rim red and the inside black. Any ideas? Be hard to paint but possible with a lot of time, anodizing? slick screen? what would be best
