These aftermarket intakes are specifically designed and tested for each year, make and model truck. When you say great deal, what do you mean… free? These intake systems don’t cost a lot but I am not sure if it will fit. You could always call the manufacturer and see what they say. My guess they will say no.

Good idea. If it doesnt fit and you re-sell it im sure you could at least make your money back... if not profit a little

tried it out. not a perfect fit but it fits. its a stage 2 afe, blue filter.
considering swapping out the current one i have, which is also a stage 2 afe for an S&B or volant with the air scoop. what do you guys think?

there is no performance difference between the 04-07 and the 08 kits, you burned $50. Sell it on ebay and get a volant.

on a side note, when I get my truck tuned by VMP, Starkie and I discussed the lean out conditions of certain intakes, particularly the S&B, he said that the canned tunes in an Xcal3 SF tuner cannot even out the A/F curve that is created by the S&B kit....

sure i burnt 50 bucks but selling it ill get probably 4 times that. not looking for maximum profit just something on the side to help pay for the new intake. which volant do you suggest?

any real difference between the intake with enclosed airbox and the powercore with enclosed airbox?
looking for maximum mpg right now since im averaging around 12.9 city/highway
