I had the same thing happen to me when the truck was still under warranty. Unfortunately the entire circuit board for the instrument cluster has to be changed. Luckily I didn't have to pay for it, but I'm sure it's well into the hundreds of dollars.

Maybe there's someone on here that knows how to get around it, but the dealer change the entire board.

The bulbs are replaceable, By odometer bulb burned out with 10,000 miles on the truck. And I replaced the bulb.

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong. I'm always open to learning new things and I'm far from being an expert on this subject, but are you guys talking about the backlight for the LCD readout with the odometer, temp and compass?...because that's what I understood the OP was asking about.

I doubt the dealer ordered me a complete cluster rather than replace a light bulb.

Just saying..........

Yes, my problem was the backlight for the LED. And that little bulb is replaceable.

Sorry to revisit this, but I found this thread and it's definitely NOT a bulb. I just hate to see anyone wasting there time looking for a bulb. We must have been talking about two different displays.

Default odometer backlight issure

I see where dielectric grease will help connection. Yet, there is a bulb behind the LCD odometer screen. Mine is out (no continuity). What is replacement bulb #?
Ford dealer not have it, nor did NAPA or other auto parts store. Someone posted a sylvania bulb #37. Don't know year of truck.
