Default Installing leveling kit now. HELP!!

I installed my 2.5 leveling kit. Everything is fine except the upper control arm is touching my coil spring. It does appear to be way out of Alinement now. Could this cause this. Did I do sumthing wrong? Can I drive it?

Type "leveling" in search box. Scroll down to 12-19-09. I think it's under sign in name, gnichola. Had same exact problem.

I think the solution to his problem is that he installed them on the wrong side. The spacers are labeled as D and P.

I think something went wrong, I installed a 3" kit on mine and the spring was close but was still Half an inch away and the alignment was still bang on.

I'm all good to go. I only had one side done when I posted this. I set the truck down on all 4 when I was finished and its good to go now. They popped into place once all the weight was on the ground

It is reccommended from the manufacturer of the kit that you do a wheel alignment after installing it. I'd do it just to be safe.

When I originally saw your thread I was gonna ask if you had the tires on the ground lol. Same thing happened to me when I did mine, I did one side at a time. So of course when I lowered it, it moved away. As someone else said definatley get an alignment.

how long did it take you to do your install? I'm looking into doing mine after the first of the year.
