I put mine on about 2weeks ago. Once the vehicle was lowered no problem. I took and had the front end realigned and it rides and heandles as good as it never did.2 inchs is a modest lift and I have done lifts over the yearss on many different trucks. When you rotate the tires just double check your nuts and bolts and you should be just fine. I like the way my 4x4 sets now and have plenty of room for tires. My truck sets all most dead level with the auto spring kit.

I put the 2 in spacer in mine, and I think the ride is better, tighter, and the nose dosen't look like it's gonna hit something when I go up my driveway. The only thing to check is the allignment due to the change in the wheel and tierod angle.

Default LEVELED my 08 FX4

I installed the 2 in level kit in my new (1351 miles)08 FX4 install was easy, used a puller to pop off tierod, and upper ball joint( no risk of tearing the boots and having to repalce ), then took off the upper part of the stab link. pulled out the strut, installed the lift, reinstalled the strut, (a lil extra push to get it in cause of the extra length, bolted up the top, slit the bottom bolt in, then used a jackstand and lowered the truck ontop of the stand to load the suspension and compress the spring to ease the build up.installed the upper ball joint firstm then the tierod, then the stab bolt.
After this was all back together I think the truck rides better! There is extra pressure on the stab so it dosen't roll to the left or right as bad, the extra space in the springs seems to make it suck up bumps better(more car like) it looks like a 4x4 should look, and I don't feel like I'm looking down at the road in front of the truck. and the headlights are perfect ( the blue ones help too)
NOW THE BAD
I work on cars ALL the time so I was curious about the allignment on the new truck after the mod (20's ain't cheap) the driver was toed in 4.2DEG and the pass was toed in 5.0 DEG........can you say excess wear on outside of tires! Everything else was spot on which the allignment guys was impressed with. 10 min and $43.00 later (discounted) expect around $80.00 I was on my way with a better feeling of everything being good to go!!!
Hope this helps others out there.

Mine was 2 inch auto spring $68 and free shipping contacted them by phone after getting the number off the net. They where friendly and helpful. The kit was not to bad of a deal to put on and FOMOCO all that had to be done was the toe on my truck. I did the whole thing under $110. I like both the look and the feel of the truck. If you use auto spring and don`t want to add a rear block go with the 2 inch mine sets all most level. Different brand probally will set at different heights and I don`t know if make and model of truck plays apart in the ride height you get. Mine is a 2009 xlt4wd. I posted a pick on a thread in here somewhere.

I've got a 2" auto spring kit.....I installed it myself, and it was very easy if you can read directions, had it aligned for $50 at the ford dealership (with coupon from MyFord.com), and now its been on for 5K miles without any problems.

I would definitely recommend Auto Spring kits because they use a slightly offset bracket to prevent contact issues.
