Default Injector cleaning??

Has anyone done the extra mile and hand cleaned their injectors (not doing a full rebuild) and fuel rail?? Would it help with ticking?? My ticking is getting a little excessive but don't want to spend the money on injectors right now and was wondering if pulling the injectors out and cleaning them would help!

Are you sure it's the injectors and not cam phasers, sticking injector, exhaust leak, etc? If you're worried about the injectors, run some PEA based cleaner through it or rig up something like this:

No exhaust leaks either and not sure about the sticky injectors! But after watching the video I can do something like that but all I wanted to do was just pull them out and clean out any carbon that I can see!
