Default Inertia switch

Hello, I've got a 04 f150 with a 5.4
The truck has been running fine then I went and cut & banged on the passanger side wheel well due to tire clearance issue, truck nolonger wants to start. It turns over but the pump won't turn on ( can't hear it ). I found my inertia switch and pushed the button down (which did not look popped up ) and that did not fix my problem. I also unplugged it and jumped the two wires to make a direcet connection and still no power to pump. Any ideas to try next before replacing the pump ? Thanks for any help Jason

Default Fpdm?

Have you looked at your fuel pump driver module? Search this site or internet for F-150 fpdm, if you aren't aware of the fpdm problems.

Yes I put a new one on because it was split in half. Thought that was the problem but no luck.
could the inertia switch actually be bad and not be sticking popped up ? ( this happened after I banged on the inner fender well ) but pushing it in doesn't fix my no start .

Check your fuse box.. located in the passenger side kick panel.. you may have knocked out a fuse or relay with all that banging..double check the fuse for the FPDM .. it may have blown when the module split open..

Thanks for the info,
I checked the fues panel and numbers 31,32,33,34,35
& 21,22,23,24,25 are fine.
I also replaced the 2 white square relays that just under numbers 31 - 35 and still no change.
I replaced the inertia switch still nothing.
after replacing it and checking the fues I once again tried the direct power from the battery to the Green/yellow wire from the harness for the pump relay to see if it would turn on, no luck.
so from all the videos I've watched and all the advice given to check the different things I'm to the point of thinking it gonna be 1 of 2 things left. Pump or relay . I've got the pump so I guess that's my next move Sunday while I'm off.
What are your thoughts?
Thanks Jason
