Cheapo cameras are going to end up making you buy better, which will cost you more in the short run.

The cheapo cameras fog up within about 2 car washes, or the first heavy rain.

I prefer the handle one too, I look forward to hearing about your results because I plan to do the same thing. What did you get for a deck? Nav system?

Not to thread jack but I am also doing this project. There are numerous threads(some wayyyy to long) over a couple forums, but there is no one single doucument with step by step details and part numbers, wiring info etc. IF I ever got off my *** and write an article I will be sure to post it. Using aftermarket deck with factory camera, factory tailgate harness and my own wiring from the rear bumper to the deck. Glad to hear others are doing this - post your work so I can continue to be lazy and not write teh article!!
