So today i started to wire my KC hilites up and i want to know if its okay to tap my accessories wire in my ignition to run the supply for the switch for my lights? Some people i've talked to think its okay beacuase the load is connected to the battery but i just want to know what you guys think. I just have a plain jane 2008 XLT with no fancy gadgets in it.

Oh yea if its okay to do this what wire do i tap and when i searched i couldn't find a definitive answer.
