I am using shallows Alpines new type Rs

 

How do they sound I'm trying to figure out what kind I want. I here's the type r blows really easy so I was thinking about going with the kicker shallow mounts.

 

I've only toasted one alpine sub n I did it on purpose, I'm putting a lot of power to mine, from a mrd 1005

They hit awesome! There not that load but you can really feel them, and they sound mint! So clean I love them, if your wanting a ton of bass! These probably aren't gonna satisfy you, but if you want a good upgrade that will pump your truck pretty good, id get 2 of these

 

i know shallow mounts can't get as loud and hit as hard as a regular sub, but what's the best shallow mount to go for that'll rock my truck pretty good?
