Oh yea sounds like you definitely blown a voice coil or a cone. I'm goin with the voice coil.

I'm gonna find a way to make my fox acoustics box to hold three,I was thinking 2.5" seat lift and a shallow 10in the center under the middle seat firing up,so on the sides have the 2 regular subs firing down then add a third to
The center going up that's what im hopping to do anyways

Just curious does the noise in the speakers along with the crackling consistently become more noticeable as you increase volume?

How do u like ur fox box? I bought just one them plain boxes for a super few down fire and it don't hit for **** to me I'm use to my ported box I built for my ranger so I gotta do something else.... So I was wondering if the fox boxes hit harder than the other boxes?

I only got one type R slim 10 in it right now, and hits pretty dang good certain songs can shake my rear view mirror ,

I just ordered my second type R today can't wait!

yes it gets louder and it does it more frequently as the song keeps going

I would just do three shallow mount 10'a firing up in a sealed box that would be plenty of base or what you need.
