Ok so I bought the K&N C.A.I and am strongly thinking of returning it from all the reviews I read and the Gotts mod but in the future I plan on buying the keystone functional ram air hood if I do will I have to rebuy the intake? Someone seriously convince me one way or another.

 

Also will be throwing on a tune and exhaust within the next couple weeks so I'm really stuck on keeping it. I'm hurting for horsepower right now pushing my wheels and what not also thinking about a gear upgrade.

Your questions are probably the most commonly asked on the forum. Very smart technical guys have scientifically tested those mods. Intake and exhaust do very little to nothing to improve performance or mileage in normal driving. Mostly they just make the exhaust louder. The Goots mod is worthwhile because it doesn't cost much. The 2 things that will benefit you the most are a tuner and a gear change if you have bigger wheels and tire. Both have been discussed extensively.
