im a paint and body man for a living so the paint is free for me! I also own a vinyl plotter which die cuts stickers for me! But besides those two key things that I fortunately have access to this is how its done.

The emblem i have is flat , not raised letters like on our trucks. What i did was tape off all the chrome ring with fine line tape and masking tape. Then i used a scotch brite pad to scuff up the surface i want to be painted. then I painted the area white. now i placed my die cut sticker on top of the white paint after it dried "15minutes or so". now i sprayed the blue over top of the white and decal. let it sit for another 15 minutes or so and pulled the die cut sticker off. Then i clear coated the entire area. once it dried i pulled off all the masking tape and fine line tape and now i have a bad *** emblem. any more ?s is great, I enjoy helping! hope this helps.

well i also have access to a sticker maker!! this seems like a project i will be tackling soon enough!!

so pretty much just some spray paint is all i'm gonna need along with some clear coat? should i wet sand it with coats or just stick with the one coat and not try to be fancy schmancy with it?
