Default I have to make a decision

Well, i've ran my 305/55/20's nittos bare.. and it's tire time....

I really dont like the rockstar rims anymore.. but i doubt anyone wants to trade me as well.... I also can't seem to find the offset or anything on these.. i've taken two tires apart to try and find the size stamped inside the rim.... the only place i haven't looked is on the spokes of the rim for the stamped size.

also getting ready to do complete timing overhaul

truck as far as i know has a level kit on the front (not sure on the size it came with the truck)

at full lock i rub on the lower control arms... thats with wore out tires.. so i'm not sure if a new set of 305/55/20's will be worse.. I love the look of them...

there is no chance i can squeeze 35's in there if i'm already rubbing correct?

theses nittos are some heavy ****ers.. 10 ply as well...

I'm also not sure on the difference between like 305/55/20 and 33/12.50/20

i like aggressive tread so not sure what i want to go with next as well... got like 1100-1300 to spend

truck is a 2006 f150 lariat

she is my pride and joy i've finally owned it 1 year... I drive alot.. put 30k on it in a years time.. it never stops moving :/

heres a pic

Looks like you have a negative offset on those wheels which may be your issue...

im sure there is.. i'll have to break down and do some math to find out.. I like the stance... I like the wide aggressive look... once i get my lift i want to do something like this not complaining about the rubbing, just wondering if i stick new 305/55/20's if its going to be worse

I had the unfortunate experience of driving behind a truck with its tires hanging out beyond its wheel wells two weekends ago; it shot a stone out at me and cracked my windshield. I pulled over, and a police officer came up within a few minutes. He apparently found the truck a few miles down the highway in some traffic, and called me to provide his insurance information. In Florida, a windshield gets replaced by insurance for no deductable with comp/collision coverage. I think the driver of the truck however got a ticket, as tires extending from the fenders without any protection (flaps) is illegal, at least in Florida according to what my insurance agent told me.

We definitely dont have that law here in nc, we have trucks with 49s running around town, we got cars and trucks with limo tint all around and windshields tinted

That law only exists in Maryland for commercial vehicles as far as I know.

Actually that law exists in many states, both commercial and non-commercial. It's there for a reason, so exactly what happened to this gentleman doesn't happen. Please consider your fellow drivers before letting your tires extend out several inches beyond the wheel wells. This falls in the danger category with those that put cheap light scattering headlights in.

How many miles you get out of those Nittos, just curious. I assume they are the Trail Grapplers, or Mud grapplers?
