Default How to turn off that TPMS light

2008 F150 5.4L. The low tire pressure light is on constant. Tire pressure is OK on all 4 tires. I don't have the reset tool.

Is there any way of turning the light off? Is a sensor bad and how can you tell which tire it is?

I'm new to the forum with the 2008 vehicle. I was on before when I had a 1990 F150. I wish I had kept the beast.

no way to turn off the light...need to fix the problem...did you check your spare tire...you have 5 tires..if the spare is good then you have a bad sensor.

I bought this truck used in April of this year. The spare was missing when I bought it. I brought it back to dealer where I bought and they put on the spare but I don't know if it had a sensor - never thought about it till now.

Can a garage or the dealer pin point what wheel it is and just replace that sensor? Any idea how much it costs?

there's no sensor in the spare.
and even if it does..the sensor is not activated if the wheel are not turning after a certain time.

08 could be bad sensor....(they are still good on my 07..with 65K miles only though)

I have the light all winter since I don't have sensor on my winter wheel set.

Thanks for the feedback. My 08 has 73k miles.
Does anyone know if the tpms has to be fixed for the state safety inspection.
