Default how to soften leather

I just bought some black leather seats seats from a wrecked 07 f150. I have used baby oil on the vinyl in my 63 mercury to soften it up and it worked wonders. It made it soft like brand new. Has anyone tried this on the leather? Does it work? I just thought id ask before i tried it.

Thanks guys I looked and what I found was the Lexol so that is what i ended up going with. It sure made a huge difference and it looks great Thanks. I am going to treat it every few days and see if it helps to soften it up. I think it is already better. I did the clean first and had no idea it was that nasty dirty. It made some really muddy water in the sink.
