Default How to remove the door panel?

My window disconnected from something. It will only go up and down by hand. The motor works but it isnt moving anything. How do I get the door panel off. I found the two screws in the bottom ledge and the two behind the door handle but I cant seem to lift it off. Am I missing something?

once you take it off the first time, you can have them off in minutes.

Hi All,

I'm new to this forum and also new to owning a truck. I have the 2009 F150, just installed a nav system over the week end. I want to replace the factory speakers. Just wondering if the screw locations are the same as the 2008? If anyone has pics on this how to, that would be very helpful for me.

it's so people can't break under the door handle and pop open your truck, you can break into any F150 with a crowbar in seconds....

I also found that the plastic "studs" that the door speaker screws go into can hold up the door panel.

As Atom says, once you remove them the first time, they are a breeze to do any addtional time.

I take it you didnt click on the link I posted, it clearly shows you what a Jimmi Jammer is and looks like. They are also available for tailgates, since it takes no tools and about 30 seconds to have that off. The underhood latch is so potential thieves can't open your hood, disconnect your battery (alarm) and take their sweet time taking anything else they want.
