Default how to remove this?

Anyone know how I could take the top black plastic piece off? I'm trying to mount a cb radio and I need to run the wires down and to the fuse panel/battery. Thanks

I don't believe you can remove that without removing the front trim. (By that I mean the "woodgrain" trim in your case)

I had my front trim off when I replaced the head unit, but I can't remember how the tray comes out. I believe it's secured from underneath.

The front trim piece pops off. Then take the head unit out and you should be able to access the bottom of it.

when you remove the raido bezel (the wood grain piece) there will be two bolts above the radio remove them and then the top tray will come out

Yes, it just pops off. Pull till you THINK it will break, then it will pop off. Especially if it has never been taken out before, it will be pretty tough.

I tend to pull from the bottom and then pull on the sides. You shouldn't break it and if you do break it thats what they made duct tape and super glue for
