How to fix code B2909
Hi guys, I purchased a slightly damaged 2005 f150 XLT 4.6L V8 2WD. It was in a minor front bumper accident., And the airbag light is on. The front impact sensor by the radiator was damaged from.age and the elements.
when I used my scan tool, it showed a fault for the impact sensor and other things.
I was able to get rid of the fault for the impact sensor to the front of the vehicle, but I can't get the following code cleared...B2909 ( it says belt tension sensor fault) does anyone know what are the possible causes of this code still being present? What are some things I could try to clear this code?
thank you in advance for your response

Thiank you very much for your help. Which connector? Ones going directly to the module under the middle seat? The connectors under the passenger and driver's seats? Or some other connector?
Make sure engine is off and key removed. Air bags can kill you.
In general there are connectors for the supplemental restraint system located under the seats and sometimes in the pillars between front and back seats. I would refresh contacts on any and all.

Ok I'll start here and see if I have success
Slow down a bit...
Do NOT futz around with anything related to the airbag system without FULLY following the safety procedures in the service manual. Failure to do so can be "sub-optimal", to say the least. For one, do not touch anything without first disconnecting the battery's negative terminal and allowing the backup internal power supply to deplete (a minute or so).
B2909 indicates there is an issue detected with the seat belt tension/position sensor on the passenger side. The related connector is near the base of the seat belt mounting faster behind the lower B-pillar trim.
