Default How does this sound?

I've hit a wall in terms of being able to put pricey upgrades on my truck (new wheels/tires/tonneau cover etc...) but my mind has yet to catch up and now im trying to do with what little I can manage at the moment.... so......

De-Badge, Plasti-Dip the stock rims, Plasti-Dip the chrome front/rear bumpers, and get a Saleen grille.

Thoughts/input? In my mind it sounds like it will look great! But I would love some of the forums expert/experienced advice. Thank-You!

Saleen grille is a nice upgrade on our trucks, IMO. plastidipping the factory wheels would look good but doing the bumpers is a little overboard, but once again thats just my opinion. De-badging adds a nice touch as well!

The reason I would do the bumpers is because with the black grille and black rims and debadging the truck.... the chrome bumpers would look so... out of place?

Nevermind, I took a look at the truck again and I am gonna leave bumpers alone. The grille edging is still going to be chrome so the bumpers wont look completely off.

If that were my truck heres what I would do, I would add a fx2 badge on the back since it is 2wd it appears I would then save money and get some new wheels and tires an be done. It will look very sharp with a fx2 sticker and some 20s and lower profile tires rather than go for the big look. 2wds look best when they look fast, 4x4s look best when they look big

There are alignment holes behind every badge, you will have holes.
I'm not a fan of plasti-dip, for a few bucks more and a little bit more prep, you can have something much more permanent and better looking/easier to clean.

I'd do the bumpers. I blacked everything out on my truck, the plastidip form my experience isn't durable and peels/shrinks, especially over chrome.

You are correct, 2wd. Wheels and tires wont be a possibility until after I go on another deployment and that wont be happening anytime soon. I am just trying to do small things right now just to keep occupied in the truck.

Are you serious? There are holes in the body of the truck behind every badge???

I am looking online and it seems the only ones with the holes are the front and rear oval ford emblems. I am looking to take off the three F150 badges (two over the fenders and one on the rear).

Well did even more research and it seems that there probably ARE holes behind each badge.... FML.... I have no idea what to do now.
